Wold and Nicholas is currently out to bid for contractors. They will then review bid proposals and the Board of Education will approve of the bids during the BOE meeting on September 11, 2024.

Agenda Item 7.0

Approval of ELC HVAC Replacement – 7.01

The Early Learning Center (ELC) has an unreliable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system (HVAC). The system has a consistent history of problems and requires more maintenance than usual. This has disrupted the learning environment at the ELC due to the system’s failures. A better option has been explored, which would be more reliable and energy-efficient for heating and cooling.

The Board of Education approved the HVAC replacement system at ELC for no more than $5.1 million.
